Entry is free, and open to companies across Canada, both large and small, who have developed innovative products within the previous 18 months. A jury panel of leading Canadian marketers, media, industry and trade representatives reviews the entries to ensure they meet the competition criteria, and selects a shortlist of finalists who then move on to the final consumer selection process.
Winners are voted on by a representative panel of over 12,000 Canadian consumers via an online survey conducted by independent research company TNS, the largest custom research company in the world. Consumers are asked to vote on preferred product design, function and/or packaging innovation.
